Braiden M Holidays Reflection

In the school holidays we cruised down to the Hawke's Bay to see my grandmother. The trip down was very scenic, we passed lots of cool landmarks like the Devils Elbow and a milestone we like to call Rocky. We call him that because someone spray painted Rocky on the back of him and put a face on him.

When we got down there it was around 8:00 - 9:00 pm. We went inside set down our bags in our room, said hello, ate something and went to bed. The next day was a lot more exiting, I woke up in the morning feeling like I had just had twelve coffees. I leaped out of bed chucked on my clothes and ran out to the lounge to see everyone. I had breakfast while looking at photos of my baby cousin and watching funny videos of people failing cool things with my grandmother.

At around 9:00 am I went down to Guthrie Park to watch the football. I was down there for a couple of games before I came home to wait for my brothers so we could go practice taking penalties for when I start taking penalties in my games.

In the afternoon we went to see my uncle at his retirement home. We were there for 2 hours before we came home. When we got home we had dinner, I had a shower, I relaxed for a bit and then went to bed to get some rest before the big trip home the next day.

  1. It sounds like you had a lovely time with your family. It is a very scenic drive to Hawkes Bay. How was the weather for the trip? I hope it was nice for you.
